After the success of our concert on 10th March, BHMY is now preparing for Kingston Borough Bands Tattoo on 12th May.
That performance will be a first for some of our band – their first marching display set to music. It’s going to be a challenge for many but it will be fabulous.

BHMY takes new members at any time of the year, as long as they’re 7 years old or more. Our newest member joined Thursday 8th March aged 18 and performed his debut with us on Saturday 10th!

Nothing is more character building than being chucked in at the deep end!!!!
🤣

Our friends are continuously recruiting, as we do! It’s essential to keep replenishing the ranks in order to keep our marching bands going. That way, the traditions are passed down and, when someone leaves, there’s always someone else to fill the gap.

Kings Norton Youth Marching Band will be in Asda Parkgate Shirley on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th March.

We’re seeking new members! 🎵🎶🎵

Come & visit us & ask about what we do, drop some coins in our fundraising buckets & put your green tokens in our box. All money raised will go towards instruments & uniforms which we provide for our members. Thankyou for your support.

These girls have been playing clarinet in our band since September. They showcased their achievements in this little ensemble as well as learning and playing all 19 other pieces in the concert. Three of them are 9 and the other is 11! Conducted by one of our young leaders.
